Samples
All in Samples/Scenes. They use only what ships with the kit and look the same in Built-in, URP and HDRP.
| Scene | What it shows |
|---|---|
InteractionKit_Demo3D |
First person: a smooth door, a physics door you can walk into, a locked door with a key, a hold-to-open door, a row of furniture (cabinets, drawers, bookcase, fridge) made with the Setup Wizard, a Make it yours button that switches the prompt, crosshair and highlight between the ready-made themes, and a More objects corner to your left: a valve that lights a lamp when fully turned (press it, or hold E and drag it), a crate that breaks, a chair to sit on, a ladder up onto a platform with a gem to collect (marked, with an arrow when it is off screen), and a lift to ride. The highlight and nearby markers are on in the whole scene. |
InteractionKit_LockedWorkshop |
A small escape room in the dark: read the note on the desk (the locker code), enter it on the keypad, take the fuse from the supply locker and put it in the fuse box, pull the breaker (lights and the button panel get power), inspect the old gear for the button order, press the buttons, push the crate onto the pressure plate; the cage lifts and the chest holds the key to the exit (plus some random loot). Shows notes, keypads, carrying, sockets, inspecting, power, logic, an order puzzle, a pressure plate and loot. Turn on Show Power Wires to see the wiring in the Scene view. |
InteractionKit_Demo2D |
Top-down 2D, three rooms: switch on the light and read the note, open the door, push the crate onto the 2D pressure plate to slide the gate open, enter the note's code on the keypad and loot the chest. Shows Proximity 2D Discovery, switches, notes, a Pressure Plate 2D, a powered gate, a keypad and loot in 2D. |
InteractionKit_DemoNetcode |
Multiplayer with Netcode for GameObjects: Host / Client buttons, shared doors. Needs the Netcode package. |
Controls: WASD / left stick to move, mouse / right stick to look, E / X (Xbox) / Square (PlayStation) to interact, F3 for the debug overlay.
Samples/Prefabs has the interactive doors and furniture (and in Workshop/ the button, lever, plate, chest and crate,
made from the plain models in Workshop/Models with the Setup Wizard); Samples/Loot the loot items and tables; Samples/Models/KenneyFurnitureKit the original Kenney
models (free, CC0). The sample scripts (first-person controller, 2D mover, network player) are simple examples: use your
own controller in your game. The kit only needs an Interactor.
