Themes
One Theme asset styles the whole front end: colors, font, text sizes and style (uppercase, letter spacing), sizes and spacing, sprites (panels, controls, focus frame, slider, toggle), screen transition (fade, slide up, scale), focus animation and UI sounds.
| Theme | Look | For |
|---|---|---|
| Clean | Neutral dark, rounded, blue accent, fades | Any game |
| Tactical | Dark, angular cut corners, corner-bracket focus, uppercase with letter spacing, hazard orange, slides in | Shooters, action |
| Storybook | Warm parchment, very round double-edged panels, heart toggles, bouncy focus, scales in | Fantasy, adventure, cozy |
Each has a high-contrast variant used when the player turns on High Contrast.
Switch themes #
Tools > All In One Game Settings & Menu Kit > Open Window > Theme: click Use on a theme. The
front end in the open scene restyles immediately (undoable). Tick Preview high contrast to see
the variant. At runtime: MenuRoot.Instance.SetTheme(theme).
Make your own #
Duplicate a theme asset and change it, or create one with Create > Romano Assets > Settings Menu > Theme. Sprites are white and tinted by the theme colors; 9-slice borders keep corners crisp at any size. To support High Contrast, duplicate your theme as its variant, set strong colors (text at least 4.5:1 against panels and controls) and assign it to High Contrast Variant.
