All In One Runtime Building Kit documentation

Let players build bases and place furniture at runtime: turn your own models into build pieces in about ten minutes without code, snap them together through sockets, drag out rows and areas or stamp whole buildings, and see a plain reason whenever a spot is refused. Four ready-made themes, and every part of the HUD, preview, words and sounds can be changed or switched off.

  • Unity 6000.0+
  • Built-in, URP & HDRP
  • No dependencies
  • Full C# source
  • Version 1.0.0

Quick start: about ten minutes

  1. Import the package. Everything lands in Assets/AllInOneRuntimeBuildingKit/; your own pieces go to Assets/AllInOneRuntimeBuildingKitData/.
  2. Open Tools > All In One Runtime Building Kit > Open, click Open Sample Scene and press Play: 1/2 pick a piece, left click places, R turns it.
  3. Open Make Buildable, drop in your own model, check the measured size, pick a preset and click Create Piece.
  4. Click Test in Play Mode: a test scene opens with your piece ready to place. Then check Pieces and fix anything listed with one click.
